Stickers Are Stuck?
You can use a heat gun, iron, or hairdryer to heat up a sticker before removal. Proceed with caution - different surfaces and products are sensitive to different heat levels and heat applications. Start on low heat and work your way up. Never use an iron on plastic, for example, and always start with the device far away from the sticker!
Nasty Oil Stains on Your Cool Tech Pants
Before you throw that bad boy through the wash (and especially the dryer, which will set the stain), scrub the stain with some Dawn dish soap using a soft toothbrush. Let it sit for an hour or two, then soak in warm water for 3+ hours. Hand rinse\ that bad boy to get all the dish soap out and then run it through a regular wash using laundry detergent. When done, don’t throw it in the dryer. Air-dry that bad boy. If that stain is gone when it’s finished air drying, then you can wash and dry it as normal next time. If it isn’t gone yet, repeat the process. You can repeat the scrub, soak, and rinse portion a few times before doing the wash portion to speed things up. Obviously you should check this method in an inconspicuous area first to make sure that Dawn doesn’t fux up your cool pants. I typically skip this extra step because if the Dawn won’t work, nothing will – and, if the Dawn stains it worse, I would just throw the pants into a tub with a bunch of Dawn and make some sweet acid wash.

Dude. For years I’ve been struggling with keeping these things clean, no matter what I do, they get stained by minerals or mold. Even if I clean them regularly and with vigor. I’ve tried natural stuff. I’ve tried unnatural stuff. I’ve tried different types of brushes. I thought that I was completely screwed and the bathroom would need to be reglazed. Then I tried Tilex. Holy cannoli guys. I’m sure this stuff is real bad for your brain, so make sure to stay well ventilated. I did three rounds of Tilex one afternoon following the instructions on the bottle (and doing some bonus scrubbing with gloves on), and all that build up is completely gone. Amazing. As with all things – test on a small area to check for discoloring first.
